Lake Powell in Arizona is the second largest man made Lake in the USA
In the words of William Wordsworth "The world is too much with us; late and soon, Getting and spending we lay waste our power; Little we see in nature that is ours".
Travel is an outcome of man's insatiable curiosity for knowledge and exploring his environment. It was this curiosity that had urged me for bold and adventurous of this kind, to undertake extensive voyages over land and sea, to discover new lands and people.
A reservoir, Lake Powell, was created by the Glen Canyon Dam in 1963, flooding much of Glen Canyon. Lake Powell emerged from a struggle over damming Dinosaur National Monument. This short trail section allows for stunning views of rock formations and glimpses of Lake Powell.
