You read my mind. When I first saw "the fire in the clouds" it reminded me of lava flowing down a mountain. I have never seen lava in person, but would love to do so. During one of my future trips to Hawaii, I would like to see the active volcano on the Big Island.
As I was watching the clouds, it did remind me of mountains in the distance. But the plains here are so flat, small hills only.
This morning my cat woke me up a little earlier than normal. When I peered out the back window the pre-dawn sky was magnificent. I can't wait to share the photos.
I am working on putting together a post on the bird counts I took two weeks ago. There will be a good number of pictures in that post.
