Fun in the Sun ☀️

Hello friends. Yesterday the sun was showing midwestern United States just how powerful it can be with temperatures in the nineties! (Fahrenheit) While global warming isn't a joke, and being this close to Canada I probably should be worried about experiencing temperatures greater than FLORIDA'S, I'm still going to make the best of the days that it happens! My girlfriend and I decided to have some fun in the sun and go to a local beach!
I took some pictures to share with you all. (:

It's HOT HOT HOT!

In the following you will see a roped off area for swimming ( welcome to the United States - land of the limited freedoms.) This is because there is no active lifeguards and the swimming hole is notorious for cold pockets of water that have actually caused a number of people to cramp and drown... dark, I know. Still the most convenient beach to go catch some of the sun's rays at. (:


It's fun to relax in the sand, hear the kids scream and play, and listen to the jocks express their manliness (usually a test of who's the most obnoxiously loud) on the sand voliball court.

All in all, we shared a fantastic day together, my love and I. It was nice to free myself from the daily burdens and enjoy a moment.
