Nature's Diving Board

Here is another post from New Zealand of a photo I took just a few hundred feet from where I took this one. I call it Nature's Diving Board as it looks like a nice platform from which a giant could run and jump into an idyllic blue ocean. This ramp-shaped piece of land flows into and comes from a land that is timeless.

I hope you get the sense of dreamy peacefulness that that I do whenever I look at it. It was taken with my Nikon D700 and my 50mm f/1.4 lens at f/6.7 and 1/180th sec.
