Gatos en Túnez

Túnez es una ciudad que aparte de ser atractiva por su cultura, diversidad y maravillosa arquitectura también es un lugar en el que abundan los gatos callejeros. Algunos de estos gatos que en su mayoría siempre están en grupo han sido maltratados y otros se encuentran en muy malas condiciones de salud.

Es muy triste ver gatos supremamente delgados o con rasguños fuertes por las peleas callejeras entre ellos. Sin embargo debo decir que los tunecinos aman estos lindos animales y les dan de comer. Es común ver sobre todo en la Medina el centro comercial de la ciudad y en el que se puede ver una gran población de gatos como al terminar la tarde los vendedores y la gente en general bota comida en los techos y en la calle para que los gatos se acerquen a comer.

Tuve la suerte de captar esta bella foto de estos lindos gatitos, aunque debo decir que no fue nada fácil porque en general considero que las fotos de gatos son difíciles pero mucho más en mi concepto si son gatos callejeros que de por si son más ariscos y esquivos que los gatos domésticos.

Tunis is an attractive city for its culture, diversity and the wonderful architecture as well as a place with a lot street cats. Some of these cats have been mistreated and others are in very poor health.

It is very sad to see cats that are supremely thin or with strong scratches due to the street fights between them. However, I must say that Tunisians love these beautiful animals and feed them. It is common to see especially in the Medina, the commercial center of the city, and in which you can see a large population of cats at the end of the afternoon the vendors and the people in general leave food on the roofs and on the street so that the cats come to eat.

I had the luck to capture this beautiful photo of these cute cats, although I must say that it was not easy because in general I think that cat photos are difficult but much more if they are street cats that in themselves are more rough and elusive than domestic cats.
