A 3 Year Stint in Paris
Hello SteemiTravellers!
I would like to share with you the experiences I had in Paris over the three or so years I was working out there, as well as some of the images you don't see quite so often...
1. Finding an Apartment - Notoriously difficult, ridiculously small but a view that compensates for it all (7th Arrondissement, next to Musee D'Orsay, overlooking the Louvre)
3. Stairs - You get used to them...eventually.
4. Work - If you have a rooftop, it helps :) (16th Arrondissement - Trocadero)
5. Parks - A different experience every season
- Autumn - Tuileries Park, 7th Arrondissement
- Winter - Tuileries Park, 7th Arrondissement
- Spring - Jardine des Plantes, 5th Arrondissement
- Spring - Chevreuse (Just South West of Paris)
- Spring/Summer - Bois de Vincennes, 12th Arrrondissement
- Summer/Autumn - Jardin de Luxembourg, 6th Arrrondissement
6. Art & Monuments - Gotta check off that bucket list...
- Inside the Louvre
- "That" bridge from Inception
- Cellist at Grounds of the Louvre
- Back of the Centre Pompidou, 1st Arrondissement
7. The Metro - Yup, pretty much sums it up.
7. Nightlife & Events - Sante :)
- Yearly Firebreathing Event
- Team Garmin at the TDF
- Fete de Musique, 1st Arrondissement
- The early signs that Les Berges du Seine is about to start, 7th Arrondissement
- Les Berges du Seine in full swing, 7th Arrondissements
- Gay Pride
8. A Sprinkle of Weird - One thing I enjoyed about Paris, it can be weird. Here it seems to be done properly when you see it...
- Les Marais, 1st Arrondissement
- An evening at Les Berges du Seine, had no idea heels were so versatile...7th Arrondissement
So that's it, I hope this gave some insight into my time here, albeit a very small snapshot.
Until the next time!
