The Pink Moon crosses high overhead tonight in the constellation Virgo on its way to becoming the first full moon of April 2026. Ahead of the Moon in the western sky is Jupiter showing its four Galilean moons, and above the planet are the red giant Pollux and the Castor star system. The NASA mission Artemis II is scheduled to launch astronauts towards the Moon from Florida on the night of April 1st, the first exploratory crew slated to fly around the Moon since the Apollo missions. #PinkMoon #FullMoon #Moon #Jupiter #Planet #NightSky #Astronomy
