A factor; but, more so dual in nature...a love for interactive blogging is primary. For most, the monetary yield is indeed a tip, with the potential for exponential gains if STEEM ever takes hold.

I'm of the belief that everything should be fair game, as long as misinformation isn't presented as fact that could harm the well-being of viewers. And, even this is debatable. There's a plethora of info online, specifically STEEM platforms alerting all of scammers. Some choose to foolishly ignore the warning. This always ends costly.

But to not digress; @haejin is plying his trade, as far as I'm concerned as a 'tool'. How he gets monetized is really no one's business as long as it falls within the guidelines of the platform.

And about being in a place where 'blogging' (lol) could net a FT income is a 'dream'; but, not totally a fantasy. As noted, the tips are an opportunity to do 'cost-free' trading. A wise person invests a significant percentage of their 'earnings' with a goal of multiplying. I'm reminded of the parable where three people were given an equal amount of money. The person who grew his money pleased the Lord. The one who hid it; and, yielded zero gains, displeased Him.
(Matthew 25:14-30).
