Spring Planting
Hi Friends,
Last weekend, the kids and I went to the Home Depot and picked up some plants to grow this year. While I do not have much experience growing things, spring seems like the ideal time to give it a try.
This year, we are going to try to grow some jalapeno peppers, sweet basil, and cherry tomatoes. Here they are:
We cheated and purchased some baby plants instead of growing them from seeds, so hopefully that will jump start our grow this year. I have strategically placed the pots holding these plants in an area that gets hit by the sprinklers, so hopefully the automatic watering will do the trick with little maintenance… we shall see!
Are you growing anything this year?
Take care,
Brian
Yep it's that time of the year! Time to get the hands dirty in the garden. I've been planting a ton of stuff. I've planted tomatoes, jalapenos and basil too. And also radishes, beets, zucchini, beans, corn, strawberries, watermelons, onions, garlic, and cilantro. You chose some good plants to start with if you're not that experienced. All 3 of those are really hardy plants, so they should be pretty easy to keep alive.
Awesome! Sounds good and good luck on your growing this year!
Wow! Great job sir @brian. Have a beautiful gardening. I planted some flowers and some fruit trees in my garden. I will also plant some vegetables.

@brian.rrr, Spring is the Ideal time for sure. And these pictures are motivating towards Gardening and Home Based Plantation.
That is nice @brian.rrr basil is a good partner for tomato dishes,, you might want to add oregano too :D
Wishing the best for your plants.
I'm not a big enthusiast of homegrowing. But this spring I stuffed spare pot with the ground from mossy and livervortsy mountain walley, were used to hunt for mushrooms. Now it's not so dull – there is added excitement of surprise: never know what to expect ))

I Always Support Your Spring Planting.
