Pronto estaremos cosechando varias mazorcas de maíz/ We will soon be harvesting several ears of corn[ESP/ENG]

Buen dia amigos, espero la estén pasando muy bien, el dia de hoy les hablaré sobre como van las plantas de maiz y es que la mayoría de ellas están cargadas con estos preciados granos.

Dentro de poco tiempo estaremos comiendo cachapa o jojoto el cual es delicioso, lo mejor de todo es que la planta cuando tiene ese tamaño los animales no las dañan tanto.

No podemos confiarnos ya que existen las vacas o tambien lluvias que los dañan, así que siempre tendremos algún inconveniente.

Cuando están pequeñas si tienen animales que las dañan y un ejemplo de ello son los gusanos que hacen desastre, nos toca proteger la planta con fumigaciones.

Que mas deseo de comerme un jojoto con mantequilla y queso, mi madre siempre me lo hacia cuando yo estaba pequeño y que bien lo disfrutaba.

Before long, we’ll be eating cachapas or fresh corn on the cob—it’s delicious. Best of all, once the plants reach this size, animals don’t damage them quite as much.

We can’t let our guard down, though; pests or heavy rains can still cause damage, so there’s always some challenge to deal with.

When the plants are small, they are vulnerable to animals—worms, for instance, can wreak havoc—so we have to protect them by spraying.

There’s nothing I’d like more than to eat some fresh corn with butter and cheese; my mother used to make it for me when I was little, and I really enjoyed it.

Ya una persona experta en la materia sabe cuando puede cosechar, si lo queremos para comer debe ser verde y ya para la cosecha debe estar seco.

Nuestras tierras son buenas en nutrientes y cualquier grano se puede dar, el maiz, caraota son uno de ellos y ya tengo algo de experiencia.

He visto como varias vacas acaban con muchas plantas de maiz y el dueño de ellas debe pagar todo ese daño, asi que las cercas se deben tener bien protegidas.
