Flora and Fauna

During my walk along Guirintal Beach, I spotted a shrub in the distance that caught my eye because of the way it sparkled in the sunlight; a multitude of colors could be seen: yellow, green, orange, gold, and violet, but as I got closer, my perception changed. This is a shrub scientifically known as Duranta erecta, or simply Duranta to its friends 😂. Belonging to the Verbenaceae family, it owes its name to Castore Durante, an Italian Renaissance physician, botanist, and poet.
