Great race, gents. Get some sleep, you've earned it.
I'd like to sincerely thank the following 6 players; for seeking out and crushing evil with such relentless dedication.
Cryptosenpai - Ranger 24, Shadow 37. - *40 20 STEEM
Enjar - Shadow 35. 20 STEEM
Gamingchimp - Scion 22, Champion (Duelist) 51, Witch 22. - 80 STEEM

Thanks again, to everyone who took part. I think the 24 hour format worked well; and I anticipate running it again in early March.
Edit: I accidentally counted Cryptosenpai's lvl 37 shadow from a previous competition, and thank him for letting me know, Enjar is the actual winner in that category.
Hi,
@mattclarke There is a mistake. I didn't win as Shadow, that character is from a previous race! :) @enjar is the winner.
Thank you very much! The race was as great as always!
Wow. Well spotted. Great sportsmanship. Thanks mate.
I'll edit that in.
I think this race was the luckiest for me so far, lol. Managed to find 2 Axiom Perpetuum sceptres that allowed me to speedlevel a witch and a scion to lvl 22 in the last few hours. :D
Herald of Purity is indeed amazing, you can just drop it in for every physical based character and get a lot of clear/singletarget, probably the best herald in the game at the moment.
I really enjoyed it, thanks a lot for hosting these @mattclarke!
Well played everyone! :)
My absolute pleasure, mate. Prizes are paid.
Look forward to seeing you again in March.

Great race everyone I know I had a blast.
I’ve sneak off to softcore now and giving a duelist a try. Can’t even recall the last time I played that class to any degree. They look quite solid so I thought I would give it a try.
Have an amazing rest of the league!
Great to see you on the podium, mate.
Wouldn't be the same without you.
Was a lot of fun amd I am glad I could get through to the end! Managed to record some footage as well. I would've stayed up an hour or two more and probably won on witch and/or scion, but I was almost passing out and stopped haha.
I look forward to seeing your gameplay. Great to see Adelaide take a stand on the podium.
I will look at creating two videos, one including my first Duelist's death, another with footage of my characters and their destroying of things in their way!

Nice you see you still at it Matt. I have had a long amount of away time. I have a POE acct, I'll install it again and see what you're up to.
Best wishes for you and yours! Peace
Be great to see you in the next race.

Looks like people had fun. I remember doing the hardcore runs and the agony of losing such a great character after you had gotten in a ways. It normally happened during a lag spike too. Such is the way of things. :)
I saw a video of a guy realising his cherished char was about to die; diving across the room to pull the power plug and knocking himself out on the wall.
oh no, holoz0r’s witch died... :(. That was actually my first proper stream viewing.
Anyway, congrats to all the slashers and zappers surviving the crazy light show of death!
If I’m around in March, I’ll make sure to get my PoE training wheels rolling, Matt. Even though it looks intimidating... 😉
It starts slow and only speeds up gradually. By the time there are things whizzing all over the screen you'll know what everything does. A few people have started playing and stopped because it was too slow and boring. Shoulda kept playing :)
I promise to give this a go. Somebody recommended another action RPG, but I’d have to pay and for the life of me, I cannot remember the name. But I’ve done my time doing a nerdsy DnD campaign online with other nerdsy ‘gents’. I can do this too -takes deep breath- sure I can....🙄 You’ve already sold me on ‘free’, consider it locked in. Worst case, if I’m around in March, I can start the campaign and end up in a pile of dead bodies 30 mins in and can claim, “I tried, Matt...”. Lol
I promise, as soon as the first woman enters the comp, I'll stop using 'Gentlemen'.
