Poetry: Valentine's Day

So I wrote this poem on my way back from watching 'The Royal Hibiscus Hotel' yesterday. The movie was nice. Anyway, I'm not sure the title of this poem is perfect for it but I'll leave it that way. I hope you enjoy reading it. So this is it.

It was too good to be true
I really didn't have a clue
I was just waiting for you to screw up
A reason to keep my feelings bottled up

For once I thought I was right about something
That to you I didn't mean a thing
But I was wrong
My name has become your favourite song

You said you came to stay
That no other woman would make you sway
You said you were tired of playing games
That my face was stuck in your head in picture frames

After we met on Valentine's day
You fell for me with every passing day
You said that with me everyday is Valentine
Now you asked, 'Would you be my Valentine?'
