I love finding old poems because it reminds me of what battles I’ve conquered. All of my poems I’ve written have a meaning behind them. This one I wrote shortly after my grandma passed away from cancer. It was a very difficult time for me because we had her house and my parents house up for sale a week after she passed. I’m just happy to know that she is still by my side protecting me.
