Afraid

Hearts Afraid of Breaking,
Never Learn to Dance.

Dreams afraid of waking,
Never take a chance.

Those afraid to be taken,
Can never seem to Give.

Souls afraid of Dying,
Never learn to Live.

This is from Anonymous. I found this poem's rough draft in a messy desk drawer at work. I was promoted at my job after the previous General Manager was admitted to a mental hospital. It was scratched on a small piece of paper. You can just feel the pain he suffered with. As you can see, I made a few tweeks to his work. It looked unfinished and I just wanted to complete it for him. I hope I did his feelings justice. My prayers for him.
