Moonlight

When the sky turned dark shy,
I opened my eyes
Which the rays of the sun had shut...
I beheld a radiant, soothing light,

I lay in the field,
As I gaze... I feel...
A magic for the soul
And light for the senses.

I dream under the moonlight
As the cool air touches my smile
And trees gently whispers
The secrets of my hearts.
