Most street children do not get the opportunity of going to school. Yes steem can be for the poor, but the educated poor I guess. We can help the poor (children mostly) by giving them gifts but can they depend on gifts for the rest of their life?
We always see steem powered charity events. That's good work but let us support their education if we can, because education is the most effective way steem can be for the poor. They will blog and better their lives.
