In this series of poems, I'll gather the great philosophical poet, known as Khayyam's poems
his poetry is simple, short and deep




Love's devotees, not Moslems here you see,
Not Solomons, but ants of low degree;
Here are but faces wan and tattered rags,
No store of Cairene cloth or silk have we.

ما کافر عشقیم و مسلمان دیگر است
ما مار ضعیفیم و سلیمان دیگر است
از ما رخ زرد و جگر پاره تر است
بازار چه قصه فروشان دیگر است.


A brief info on poet :

Omar Khayyám, was a Persian polymath, scholar, mathematician, astronomer, philosopher, and poet, widely considered to be one of the most influential thinkers of the Middle Ages. He also wrote numerous treatises on mechanics, geography, mineralogy, astronomy and music.
