In this series of poems, I'll gather the great philosophical poet, known as Khayyam's poems
his poetry is simple, short and deep




Men's lusts, like house-dogs, still the house distress
With clamor, barking for mere wantonness;
Foxes are they, and sleep the sleep of hares;
Crafty as wolves, as tigers pitiless.

نفست بسگ خانه همی ماند راست
جز بانگ میان تهی از او هیچ نخواست
روبه صفتست و خواب خرگوش دهد
آشوب پلنگ دارد و گرگ دغاست


A brief info on poet :

Omar Khayyám, was a Persian polymath, scholar, mathematician, astronomer, philosopher, and poet, widely considered to be one of the most influential thinkers of the Middle Ages. He also wrote numerous treatises on mechanics, geography, mineralogy, astronomy and music.
