Did someone say
Something?
Say,
Did someone say...?
I heard his voice
I heard her voice
But the message didn't stay
The well-dressed royal
The vagabond
The traveler
The book
The memory
The messenger
Brought forth the message
But it melted away
As if
Spoken
Under water
Louder
Clearer, please?
It's lost on me
Mouths opened
Sounds misheard
And I can't lip read
A single word
That was said
What has been said?
