to see everything melt together
and magically answer
every question in your eyes

one day, the sun will surely rise
and its golden light
will begin to touch you
in some unforeseen ways

you will come to understand
each wish you ever wished
was always granted, just not
in the ways you thought they’d be

like the roots of a mighty oak tree
we must be grounded in this Earth,
the planet of our birth,
and feel the inherent power of its wisdom,
this will heal each and every schism,
rest assured...one day, the sun will rise.
