As a teenager
The desire to flee was high
Seen and called a black sheep
All because I was different

My opinion of life was different
This brought about isolation
A loner I became
Home wasn't interesting to run to

As an adult I knew better
Controlled my reaction to things and people
Then I knew family is paramount
Home is a combination of both good and bad
