Filipino Poetry #2: "Pangarap ka lang talaga"
Kung tumigin ka, para akong nakikiliti
Kapag ika'y nagsasalita, ako namay napipipi
Puso ko'y sumisigaw at di makapagtimpi.
Gusto ko man na ika'y makasama't maging akin.
Pero tila imposible ito at biro kung iisipin
At kahit pangalan ko nga ay di mo sasabihin
Okay lang, sinta. Tanggap ko't iintindihin.
Pangarap ka lang talaga, oh aking sinta.
Bakit ba sa dina-dami ng aking kilala,
Ikaw pa ang natipuhan nang malubha?
Kahit ni kailan man, di tayo nagkasama.
Naniniwala man ako sa aking mga pangarap.
Na balang araw itong lahat ay magaganap.
Pero ikaw ay imposible. Oh, kay saklap!
Wala nang ibang magagawa kaya ito'y tanggap.
Titiisin nalang ang kabiguan sa iyo.
Na sana'y puso ay limutin ka na at magbago.
At hindi na mahalin ka nang sobra sa tago.
Dahil kailanma'y wala talagang ikaw at ako
