thanks for your comment John - try reading some poems by Margaret Atwood and Leonard Cohen online - the more you read, the more you'll understand and be able to get into their tone of voice. Poetry makes its own word music within your head - you don't need rhyme to turn into a song. After a while, you'll become artful in this medium
