It started with mess
and continued with chaos
The ones who knew best
they bailed out and betrayed us

And what we've since learned
from the shit we've been through
shows that all that's been earned
can be taken from you

When you're born into wealth
A product of success
Then one day it will melt
into one massive mess

When you're beaten down
and drenched to the bone
everything you've built on top
all the things you've ever got
created, bought, attained or stole
It will go down the chaos-hole

When you're beaten and down
and drenched to the bone
All you have left is the depth of your soul
You see great things appear that no one can own
You are homeless, but know that you don't need a home
You're a king and the abyss itself is your throne
You will face all your threats all alone
You know nothing is written in stone...

You know nothing good comes from
and good things don't thrive in
and nothings survives in
the comfort zone
