THE HEARTS WANDERS (An Original Poetry)

In plain sight,
thrilling birds in flight,
the sky schools the skylarks,
the heart's unburdening
taking solace in the beautiful blue
our mind is a travesty
of filmsy things that holds weight
till we sleep in solemn thoughts
and wake with curious eyes
The heart wanders,
yet, the eyes can tell,
how come the smile is so gentle?
but yet, chameleons into something deadly?
a touch can see the softness of soil,
the nose can feel the warmth of tears
the memories are filled with emptiness,
forgotten memories,
laid waste to yester years
The Heart seeks
contoured imaginations,
dreary thought and grey musings
like the lapping of water
on hardened rocks
the tender gliding of the swift,
colliding with courage and fear,
and the spirit will shudder,
like a fowl in a snowy night
The heart wanders,
ponders and wonders,
right in falsehood
yet, wrong for too long,
the things we see, flabbergasts us,
the world is a fable,
with tragedy lurking at the threshold,
even when the sight sees sunset,
tenebrosity lies ahead

I've been on a long vacation away from Steemit. :) Time flies by way too fast and taking the time to 'smell the roses'. I come on now and then, but not posting much anymore. Enjoying time with my family.

Haha what can I say, I've gotten better at doing this lol I think, yeah "tenebrosity" means darkness
