A tree stands by the roadside
A tired traveler sits in its shade
The wind gets wet in a dust storm
The ground shakes with the sound of wheels.

The grass on the broken path dries in the sun
A beggar's eyes are filled with silent hunger
The flower seller arranges a bouquet of dreams
The hawker's call floats away

A disappointed person sits holding the railing
Can't find a smile in the crowd of the day
Broken shoes are lying by the roadside
A picture of a stranger's torn life.

Smoke rises from a tea shop
Stories mingle between sips
The sound of a truck cuts through the silence
Still, they find it in the sky

Time freezes on the roadside
Pain mingles with the crowd of people
Still, a little hope lives on that side
The journey begins in the dream of a new day.
