POEM: More in a Kiss than Lips
I wrote this love letter many years ago. Like at least fifteen years. Probably longer. I confess, when I found this in a pile of old writing, it took me a minute to remember who I wrote it for, or if I gave it to them at all. I guess I cherished it more than they did, if I did in fact deliver it.
Maybe I created this for myself. This is often why art comes into form.
Regardless, I figured it should live again, and decided it was worth sharing here. For the hopeless romantic in us all. ;)

I must say, I'm impressed with the artistry I put into this. I used to create cards like this often, back in the days when I had free time and I wasn't using it to write novels (or binge-watch Netflix).
When is the last time you wrote a love letter, or created something inspired by love? Have you ever written a letter to yourself? (I think a love letter to yourself is a fabulous idea!)

Whoever it was for they were very lucky, it's a beautiful poem and very artistically decorated. It looks like this was etched into that type of paper that has a waxy coating you scrape off - not sure what it is called, gives the letters a very dramatic effect though. !COFFEEA
Thank you! It's actually regular paper but I used gel pens to write and draw on it, so it's kinda metallic looking. :)

I love your love letter and the art on your paper.. I did much of letters and writing in my school years, and dorky poems with doodling.. Lol

I love your idea about a love letter to yourself.. Hardest letter to write but would mean alot right? Force ourselves to focus on The good things about ourselves.. The beauty 😊

As for the love letter to yourself, I'll do it if you will! Powerful stuff that, recognizing yourself. You praise others all the time, encourage everyone else, but we have to feed ourselves. Everything is about balance, right?

Wow, you were pretty fanfrigntastic back in the Stone age too! Lol I absolutely adore the parchment and decoration. Adds the personal touch that can only come from your hand. And it's true, much more in a kiss than just lips. Top of my list for intimate interaction. Stone rainbow soul though. Still guarding the freedom back then?

Struggling through season 6 of Arrow. I loved the first 3 and am committed to seeing it to the end but interesting how much I notice the change over the course of the show. But I'm also writing a new manuscript, and spending lots of time with kids and outside. Sometimes all I have energy for is to sit back and be entertained.
Know exactly how that is.
