EMBODYING PARADOX (An Original Poem)
with each grasping phrase we start
to step into the waking realization
of how language can trap or liberate.
how the things we fight for can end up fighting us,
and the moments we piss away,
are the memories we’ll cherish.
right now is not a natural moment for us,
it’s always the desire to time travel,
to be not in this world,
to be outside our bodies
and bones,
our minds and time.
outside—seeking freedom.
this is natural.
it takes the eloquent sounds of breaking glass
to remind us
that the states we seek
and constantly wish for
are right now.
they can never be out there,
only here.
let that sink in.
if you can find peace in your misery,
then you’ve won.
if the battle for happiness
no longer becomes a battle or a wish,
but stops altogether.
the pursuit of a thing
always entails pursuit.
but,
enjoyment now can only lead to future enjoyment
for this world is made out of nothing more
than a collection of nows, shattered dreams, and a memorable past.
the only material elements are the nows.
let the others inform how we dance
and we’ve lost.
let the others speak to possibilities
and we’ve failed.
it’s the realization that freedom,
can only be felt with constraint.
power can only be seen,
when limits to it are active.
love is only noticed,
when we jump outside ourselves
and see the emanation of another.
it’s the conflicting dream of paradox
that shines the light on this thing.
it’s the way that watching death
sparks the dormant idea of life.
That was a very self aware consciousness. Expressing the value of others as it should be.
As I chose to absorb it in this sense,and further expand;
Where it is simply energy in motion which continues to travel. The more we attach a negative energy to its current polarity, the more negatively biassed this energy will become . Hence it will cloud you and your judgement and clarity of intuition.
It is the awareness of acknowledging this energy, be it positive/negative. And furthermore, the knowledge and wisdom to apply the energy to become the energy that is yours truly. And from absorbing this external energy as your intrinsic sustenance is how ones expansion and growth of consciousness and conscious r/evolution shall manifest itself.
In the present , we are driven evermore emotionally. Rather, know and discover that. The emotion itself is an applied reaction through imitation of societal expecations and/or programming throughout your lifetime....
...That is of course to say...
... that even this, is another form of programming. ..
