FEELINGS OF A FATHER ( my hugged face )
Time has gone by so fast it seems.
Is it reality or only a dream.
She’s grown so quickly in my eyes.
They fill with tears l can’t deny.
This person l sang lullabies to all night long.
I sometimes held her little body close to keep her warm.
The first word dada that she said to me.
Watching her grow and her personality.
Giving her space but not to far away.
Knowing that soon she’ll be a woman someday.
I know that l will be there for her for
as long as l can.
Feelings of a father, fathers love.
