We Are What We Eat / Poem
We Are What We Eat
he ran away to smoke his worries,
to pen vividly his stories.
his expression made him suffer,
but so much he had to offer.
if you read between the tears,
you will run into his fears.
he whole muse he would devote
to his depression. he wrote:
'i carve my sorrows on a plate
and feed the whole world.
we are what we eat,
after all, that's what we're told.
that is why we're all depressed,
always crying, feeling stressed.
we as artists long for sadness,
the main component of our madness.'

With love,

We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom. We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often...
100% agreed. We have lost touch with life.
