Alone

God bless you precious friend of mine
For all you’ve been to me
For deep enrichment to my heart
And real pleasures I see

There is no way that I could tell
The courage that you lend
And yet somehow I still must say
I’m glad you are my friend

God bless you for every word you speak
The comfort that you always bring
More words alone can never tell
How quickly your smiles are mine.
