If we eradicated disease
how could we pay Big Pharma
to tell Us that we're in perfect health.
So long as we swallow their cancers
Whilst we die beneath their thumb
slowly, sickly, looking for answers.

They amass their dirty wealth
by putting dollar signs on our suffering.
Not caring if we're in pain
They'll just prescribe another pill
Snake Oil salesmen, medical shills.

We happily sacrifice our young
to their experimental doses.
They've taken our choices
by threatening Big Brother
and his Iron bars. Leaving behind
helpless children without mothers,
fathers, anyone to raise them up.
In a broken world built to tear them down.

Pharma would gladly see us drown
in a sea of synthetic remedy.
They don't care so long as a few pennies
ride out on our last shallow, shaky breath.
That is, until They cure death
and we become prisoners for Eternity
instead of that short Life sentence
scribbled on that a cursed white
prescription sheet written by the white coat menace.

How do we overcome
all of the obstacles in front of us?
How can we ever trust
Those who promise to make Us better
but only seem to make us worse
with all Their medicines and radioactive lies
Sweet meaningless words to pacify
We silly being marching on the path to Our demise.

How can We ever rest easy
knowing the illness we fight
is manufactured by our gilded 'saviors'.
Our white coat gods, the dirty purveyors
of planned pestilence and condescending silence
All They care about it is the green of Money,
The green of Sickness, the green of Greed.
If We eradicated disease we'd hardly be in need.
