My Victory!

I got hold of the wrong side of the stick
I was weak
Wisdom is all I could seek
Completely at sea, the future was bleak

But then, I took my best foot forward
Not keeping a skeleton in the cupboard
Determined not to play fast and loose
Had all the time to choose

Not considering the history
Putting behind the misery
No matter how fiery
In the same boat, I was determined to find my victory!
