soft and gentle form.
washed, thirst quenched, ground drenched from your fall.
saturating want, breaking dries bond, replenishing the dust pleading calls.
soft drops land silently bouncing of the hard dryness, implying to us there is more.
dipple dapple an inner joy resounds at the sounds
the roof makes when you're here,
long awaited so fustruted, but forgiven now, just to hear, you.
laughter i remember you, never forgotton, just lost to when you would arrive,
so happy can't contain my excitement,
rising sprouts tell me you bring life.
nights sleep full of dreams knowing I will wake to you, spill my coffee with you,
laugh with you, and politly ask if you will stay just a little while longer too.
Rain rain dont go away, share your moisture and
water us with grace,
run run but not to much, just enough for us to taste without waste.
Falling, taunting with hope,
flushing and filling, blessings you're bringing,
please continue to soak.
This piece actually made me feel good. It's written in a happy, joyful and grateful mood. It's really inspirational and it makes one appreciate the value and importance of water, whether rain or otherwise. It's easy to take this for granted but if you take a look around what can be achieved with water, POWERFUL I tell you. I believe water is the strongest of all the natural elements.
