I just realized it was all my mistake, The stars of the night are questioning me, My mind won't stop taunting me, Why did you let Fiyinfoluwa slip away? I need you now, more than I ever did.

She wasn't the way I thought she was,
The river I thought was flowing was dry,
The honey I saw faraway was bitter leaf shaft,
My heart kept calling out your name.

I wasn't gone, my body left you but my spirit kept yelling your name
Fiyinfoluwa temi nikan, life without you has been hell,
The tree inside Oloye Balogun house has missed your love song.
Awelewa òmó Iya Abike have always asked after you.
My heart is bleeding for your love.

I have bitten the finger of “Had I known"
My heart is bleeding
Ololufemi why not give me another chance to fill that open vacuum.

At last! Awelewa won't keep disturbing me about you,
The tree in oloye Balogun agbala would hear the voice of Fiyinfoluwa.

The footpath to the stream would feel the footsteps of us,
Thanks for allowing me fill the vacuum,
Fiyinfoluwa temi nikan nothing would ever separate us again, not even death.

Indeed, I have found my lost rib in your eyeballs,
Hold my hand as we take a stroll to your household
I shall take kolanuts, salt and wines to your kindred,
When the time is right to ask for your hand,
We will dance around the village square,
From the king's palace to my chamber,
Then we'll spend a long tight night on my bed.
