Covid-19 Facemasks mock Beauty

Watching people walk on by,
Adorning variegated masks,
The hard blow on beauty comes to light.
The observation is clear -

Talking of ladies;
No matter how naturally beautiful,
Or how gorgeously dressed,
Or their beauty enhancers:
Once you take a look at their masks,
All the beauty evaporates,
Leaving them prisoners of a virus,
Appearing more like strange fellows,
If not masquerades.

The same goes to men -
No matter how naturally handsome,
Or how cutely dressed,
Or their beauty enhancers;
Once you take a look at their masks,
All the good looks disappear,
Leaving them prisoners of a virus,
Appearing more like strange fellows,
If not masquerades.

Nose or facemasks -
Fashionable in hospital theatres, but
Awful in the streets.
