VEXING (An Original Poem)

Vexing is the way that a little child will pull away from mom or dad and nearly die from running into the street.

Vexing is it when children are forced to lie to benefit a twisted desire.

Vexing when honest people try to help, they are labeled the bad guys.

Vexing how the “Evil” are called “Righteous” and glorified when they die.

Vexing is women when the seek to usurp their husbands in the raising of a
puppy, yet will give that puppy away. Overlooking that it is their fault as to why the puppy goes to the potty all over the house.

Vexing how an honest man was beaten with a baseball bat. By the lady who supposedly loved him and he nearly went to jail for that.

Vexing how a child can punch his mother in the face. Then the mother will tell the child that he did not do. Causing a “Lie” to come to life and to give an error, “Pride of Place!”

Vexing of how a Pimp can make a young Lady nearly sell her life and soul away. But, it is refreshing to see when the LORD stands up for the oppressed and hears those Ladies in their distress. Then that man dies and the captives are freed from their distress.

Vexing how the Inner City where I am from is so much like the Old Wild West. Where the man with the fastest draw gets to live and is considered the best.

Vexing how Drug dealers are idolized and placed above the fold. And the Cop’s doing their jobs are labeled bad guys. Batman, 5 O or other slang names can be heard from coast to coast. There is a war for our kids; can you not hear the drum beats?

Vexing how many try to smooth holes in their lives left from when they were kids. Using sex, drugs or alcohol to fill that hole inside that they try to fix.

Vexing how we believe in “Love” in this fallen place. But many are adverse to the hard work needed to make it thrive and grow in this place. Children are at times, an outcropping of that type of love.
Did you know when you have then, that they are gifts from above?

Vexing how I have all of the comments and questions could literally go on without end.
