My first poem

Once upon a time
I had locked away my mind
although the gatekeeper was kind
the key was hard to find
but one day the gatekeeper died
and then I cried
because I realised
that I had lied
I had imprisoned myself in the cell of lies
while climbing out of my cell
I took a deep breath and yelled
I’m finally free
I can open my eyes and see
I flew high in the sky
like a butterfly
but when time passed by
I asked why
something was wrong in my blue blue sky
all I could see was only flies
never thought that I could find
another butterfly to whom I can fly
alone I felt and all hope I lost
would have paid whatever the cost
and then I saw You…….
