[POEM] Freedom

Treading upon the sands of time,

Paying for every crime,

Never letting the good out of sight,

Knowing the difference between wrong and right,

Letting go of everything you believe,

Only then can you be truly free.

Swimming against a running stream,

It is difficult to hold on to your dreams,

Looking at the carefree sky,

It is freedom to believe you can fly.

It is freedom to break the chains of fate,

To let go of all that hate.

It’s still not late to enter the race.

Make friends out of every enemy you face.

Begin everyday with a prayer,

Never be too old to play,

Have friends who never let you stray.

If your presence brings others glee,

Then you are truly free.

Everyday, let’s plant a seed,

Thousands of hungry mouths to feed,

If the happiness of others has a place for thee,

Then, my friend, you are truly free.
