Still searching

I've been thinking a lot lately
I've had no success in love recently
I've been let down or cast out
It's aggravated me to the point of wanting to shout

I've tried my best
I've put myself through their tests
I've done all I could
But a relationship's not something they would...

I took time to improve on myself
I put relationships on a dusty old shelf
I still feel the need though
That I need someone to chase away my scary-crows

I started searching again
But that ended in pain
I'm too picky I guess
But I'd rather save myself some stress

There's always been that one
She's just waiting
I'm searching
She just better not leave me hurting

I've looked all over
I guess it's not time
I'll continue to look
Until I'm blind

I hope it's soon
Because at the moment I feel like a mate-less baboon
