The Sensuality of Spring (Day 15)

They tried to bury us.
They didn't know we were seeds.
—Dinos Christianopoulos
Momentous moment, when a great beauty
dons her bridal veil, stretches and blushes
in anticipation of the sensory feast ahead
When birds are restlessly atwitter, fanning
rumors of romance, budding in plain view
and making feverish voyeurs of all in sight
Having been buried alive in heavy virginal robes
time now, to try some color and bare some skin—
shy and bold, like all awakenings, and trembling
Pink, the color of blossoming, tender flames
cherry is the heady, sweetness of the scent
it’s a wonder, really, that we all don’t blush.

Ooooh what a lovely lovely piece so delicately crafted and enjoyable to read. It's like those really costly rose sweets you saver and eat one every weekend because eating the whole tin would be blasphemy :)
What a sweet thing to say, dear Tyger, what an image! There is something precious about the season, with new life/hope stirring, and love diffused... in the perfumed air. Many thanks, for your uplifting response <3
:)
We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. See how nature - trees, flowers, grass- grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence... We need silence to be able to touch souls.most beautiful photos i have ever seen ..very good post
Lovely comment... I agree about the holy nature of silence. Stay blessed ✨🙏🏼💫

Haha, I noticed that you didn’t say anything at all about my poem, and was wondering 🧐 Thanks!
Actually I love nature very much so I forget to admire you about your poem .Seriously it is nice, great job
What beauty to translate the words in nature. Greetings.
It's a season of awakening, literal and metaphorical, @corderosiete. Thank you, for reading, and letting me know which part you appreciated. Cheers!

A lover’s poem to Spring – well penned
Thank you, for your appreciation. Yes, a Love letter to the mystery of the seasons, and the invisible hand behind it...
"Nature's Wedding Song"
the choice of a dazzling title,
if I tell my friends here, in this life the point is only two, that is; Worship and marriage,
poetry @yahialababidi, today really, realistic and romantic, :-)
Thank you (I hope you enjoyed the poem as much as the title ;) Maybe, worship and marriage are one and the same, 2 different names for Love
_/|\_yes it is true, here too many say, married is worship, but I say it is true, but married get its own privilege in worship, just imagine, god mention that married is half of dien :-)

_/|\_Cherry is always known as the symbol of Peace and it is a fair sign of Spring season as well. Thank you so much for these wonderful lines :)
Really? I never heard, before, of cherry as a symbol of peace — do you mean the fruit or the color (& in what culture, I’m curious)?
In the Northern Side of Pakistan ~Cherry Flowers~ are considered as the symbol of Peace:)
Lovely 😊 Good to know!
I certainly would not like yo blush, but would love to bare some skin.
Haha 🤣 Go for it, ‘tis the season!
