Steem Poetry Slam Entry (Lip Locked)
Good idea with the poetry slam. I'm writing this now for the contest.
It seemed to be but just a gap,
The winged bird could only flap.
But in the depth of sandy eyes,
An odyssey is sure to rise.
Dare this trip, I would traverse,
risking water to thwart the thirst.
For the tides are merely sips,
I'll find my well upon your lips.
