Tick tock said the clock
It is way past midnight
And I am still up
I twist and I turn
At both ends, the candles burn

Tick tock said the clock
I hear the cocks crow
To my ears I put my pillow
I am tired, I need to rest
Counting sheeps, I did my best

Tick tock said the clock
Cocks crowing yet again,
To fall asleep I am waiting in vain
Tell me what time is it
Do I look like a dead meat?

Tick tock said the clock
I have to go,
I have to work
As I hit the shower,
the cold water gave a perk

Tick tock said the clock
What time is it? Where is my sock?
I need energy, give me my coffee
I am feeling so lame, no one’s to blame

Tick tock said the clock
Seconds, minutes, hours went by
There is no stopping, I held out a sigh
Time waits for no one,
Before you know it,
Another day has gone by.
