It's always fun to give away many thousands of dollars of rewards that you earned...only to have people tell you that you're "doing it wrong" or that you just aren't "Steemy enough."

Or...you get your support pulled out from under you because some dude with a horrible track record of "leadership" and an unworthy corporate title doesn't like you - or because said "leader" pushes protocol changes that screw everything up for everyone time and again.

Ned and some of the largest stake holders have expressed to me personally over the years that they do not want to see "gambling" on Steem and they consider any form of "poker" gambling.

Yeah...and then actual illegal gambling shows up and those "games" (mostly Ponzi and shittoken schemes) rake in hundreds of thousands of STEEM. And the people who "didn't want gambling" don't say a word.

And even then...like a true effin' thug...you persevere and innovate.
