I agree that it's mad they allow any tech at the table. I watched a podcast on YT with one of the players who'd played at the game.

He said that not only was everyone on their phones, a lot of them were watching a delayed feed of the very same livestream they were playing in! Also receiving texts from friends about 30 minute old hands, which to me sets up a ripe environment for cheating. Which if you think about it, is probably why they did it . . .
