I hadn't heard about this prior to reading this article, but I'm not surprised. Political Correctness seems to have morphed into a process where any and all difference of opinion is eliminated. Now, even indifference cannot be tolerated.
The complete homogenization of any and all opinions is truly frightening. It does very much resemble something like 1984, which in and of itself is beginning to become a cliche.
