Well said. It's history rhyming i think. Rome, before and during its decline, had a bloated gov't/welfare state. A hugh military w/pensions. And un-pinned their currency from their stated asset of value. We are hyper obsessed w/things that don't really matter anymore. Rome's coliseum, is now our FB or Showtime etc...We are in the death-throws of our current economic paradigm. And yes it is about the money. When this one ends, value structures will be re-evaluated and start the whole damn thing over again! ;) good post ty!
I completely agree, now that you mentioned Rome, Rome was and is responsible for Mexicos failed state, Roman catholism to be specific was self appointed to Mexico to govern and basically enforced the rule of law being that the catholic institution is one of the biggest financial entities and for hundreds of years imposed a "voluntary " but mandated 10% tariff on all households. As with any big government if you look at history from the Romans,Chinese,Britain etc they all imploded under their own weight!
