Millennials and Their Bumper Sticker Wisdom

Teenagers, a 20th century invention, have always felt that they were smarter and wiser than their parents. I cringe when I look back at what a smarmy, disrespectful punk I was. Having said that, it seems the Millennials have done that "hold my beer" routine, and are taking this abhorent practice to a whole new level. Enter Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez who I have ripped on before. To me she is just a Kardashian with political ambitions.

Forget that she looks naive with those crazy eyes, and forget that she sounds like a 16 year old valley girl when she talks, but damn she's dumb! You can tell that she simply regurgitates what other people, whom she ostensibly regards to be smart, say because she wants to be seen as smart too. So she goes on national TV, and embarrasses herself regarding the Israeli occupation of Palestine, which is stupid. No doubt she overheard someone state this at some liberal cocktail party in New York, but clearly she never researched what it meant. If she had she would have found out (depending on what dumb sources she used) that there is no such country as Palestine. No, it is far easier to repeat something you heard that you thought sounded clever or meaningful, and thus end up looking like a fool in front of millions of people.

Like most people her age, she is way too cocksure about things she knows nothing about. She is a socialist, which alone tells me that she lives in La La Land, and has been brainwashed at best or is an imbecile at worst. Young dummies today also consider themselves more enlightened than anyone older, and thus are better people. They consider themselves people of the world and espouse multiculturalist propaganda not realizing that the more they talk the more they show the rest of us that they don't know shit about the rest of the world. "America sucks!" Okay, where is it better? "I dunno." Where would you rather be a gay person, a black person, or a woman than in the United States? "........" That's what I thought. Why don't you think before you speak, and read about these issues you are so passionate about rather than simply repeat what some other idiot told you?

Like good little drones, they commit to denigrating the Fox News Channel (even though they have never watched it), President Trump, Republicans and conservatives in general, the NRA, Christians, Caucasians, and anything else their marching orders instruct. They want to be considered good people, but those they are trying to impress are the actual fascist, racist, sexist meanies. With righteous indignation they speak in bumper sticker slogans like trained seals - "the rich aren't paying their fair share," "women only make 70 cents on the dollar for what men earn," "we live in a rape culture," "school shootings happen every day," "Trump should be impeached," "there should be no borders and ICE should be disbanded," "polar bears are dying due to global warming," and other such nonsense.

I would like to see a study done that tests Millennials' knowledge on political science, current events, and world politics. Then I want everyone to answer how many books they have read in the past year. I am willing to bet that those who perform the best will be the same ones who read books. In other words, if you do not read books on the topics you have taken up as righteous causes, and thus you know nothing about what it is you are prattling on about so rambunctiously, then why in the hell should anyone listen to you, or value your opinion on anything?
