RE: Arizona child abused and burned due to CPS, Another case of CPS abuse and why they need to be reigned in
CPS and APS, talk about a worthless agency. As a former police officer I frequently dealt with this organization and I have close to zero respect for it.
As I'm sitting here I am thinking of all the kids that were truly in danger, in horrible situations and CPS did nothing. Then I think of the cases where CPS came in all guns blasting for stupid reasons, like a kid being spanked. Now, you can go overboard spanking a kid but this was not the case in this instance.
Lets say that CPS does remove the kids, then they go to foster homes and most of these people are worthless pieces of sh#t who are in it for the $$$ only and don't give a rats ass about the kids. These foster homes tend to do more harm than good.
If CPS ever comes to your door and you know it is CPS then don't answer, don't acknowledge them. If you do happen to open the door and they identify themselves then close the door. They are on a fact finding mission to snatch your kids up.
@dwhntx thank you for being honest and speaking the truth. Wish we had more people like you.
Matter of the fact is that when you give people a huge amount of power with little oversight stuff like that happens. I know people try to say that's the "exception" yeah that's fine. Tell that to the parents who's kid was basically abducted for no reason. Like with that example in Texas those dozen of so CPS workers handled tons of cases. They could have falsified information for hundreds of reports for all we know.
And you're right sad to say. There have been many times where kids in real need are ignored. While others they are removed for stupid reasons. There needs to be better oversight. So that CPS and bad foster parents aren't looking at children as a meal ticket/paycheck for themselves.
The worst part is how little recourse you have if CPS does come for you. They wield a huge amount of power without need for things such as a real investigation, warrant, real proof, etc. Only thing I hope is that with time people will see this and push for change.
